If you don’t believe that, ask 90% of pastors who’ve been pastoring within the last 3 years through this pandemic. Ministry has another side filled a plethora of emotions that can sometimes be damaging to your mental health, if you neglect it. Ministry can bring on many challenges and difficult seasons & if we’re not careful, we can burn ourselves out trying to be superman/superwoman. Mental Health matters, rest matters, vacation time matters, personal health matters, and all these things can be neglected in the pursuit of ministry if we’re not careful.
